My 2nd toe is the the same length (or only slightly longer) than my big toe, but I still suffer from “talon toe.” I had a physical shortly after a half marathon a few months back and the doc thought I smashed my toes because of the black nails. Curling toes and blisters may be more common than you think.

yeah, that is Andy…I recall my first Boston in 2007 as I was heading toward the starting line and I heard that all familiar voice. I turned to the runner next to me and said, hey, I think I know that guy-he’s in my running club. It was good to know that a friend was there to start me at my first Boston.

Hello Ken! I was out for the An Ras Mor 5K. I saw you out there and you got several pictures with me. I tagged myself on Facebook. This is great! And fun! I didn’t see the juggling runner. This was a good way for me to see things that I missed and also got a few shots of me!! Thanks!

I just moved to the area so this was my first race here. I liked that the race wasn’t too crowded. Maybe I’ll see you out there again!

I usually don’t like winter races but this race was great. A post race party outside inside a heated tent was awesome. The beer was great too. I love Smuttynose. Plus there was chili. After a few beers I went in to the awards ceremony at the Asgard hoping to see who won the costume prize. The Asgard was full of great people and had a good time. I hope the Winter Classic 5k wasn’t just a one time event-I will definitely look out for it next year.
