The Lobster Dash is a gorgeous race on the packed sand of Ogunquit Beach in Maine. You run for five miles on the most wonderful surface you can imagine, as waves roll in and the sky looks up at you from a reflection underfoot. After the race you get the best possible post-race food: a lobster roll!
Come! Run with me now
(I took this photo, and the others below, while running.)

Were you at this race–and if so, what did you like best about it? What could be improved?
(If you weren’t there, I hope these photos and HD video gave you a taste of the race…and I hope I’ll see you at a race next week.)

Kevin–I’m with you! I enjoyed the race, the weather, and of course the lobster roll. Shirt was not a tech shirt…but it REALLY fit me well. (Nice and long!) I really like it. So I give this race a 10 out of 10.
I just sent you a photo I took of you at the finish line. I hope you enjoy it…and I look forward to seeing you at another race!
Lacey–My reaction to this race was the same as yours: I “loooooved” it. Everything I look for in a race…this one had. A scenic course…great weather…joyful runners…and memorable post-race food.
Glad you enjoyed my recap and photos. I hope to see you soon at another race! (And if you see me, please say hello! I’ll do my best to get a picture of you as we run.)
If you are on facebook, take a look at my “Run with Ken” page. (If you press the “Like” button, then you will get a notice whenever I post photos and an HD video of another race.)
